Hepatitis B, also known as viral hepatitis B, can be divided into acute and chronic hepatitis B. Acute hepatitis B is less common, and what people usually refer to as hepatitis B is chronic hepatitis B. Chronic hepatitis B is a chronic inflammatory disease of the liver caused by persistent infection with the hepatitis B virus. The main manifestations of this disease include jaundice, dark urine, fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, and discomfort in the upper right abdomen.
