Lumbago and leg pain refer to symptoms of pain in the lower back and legs caused by various reasons. Most lumbago and leg pain manifest as chronic pain, with mild pain normally. However, when overexertion or the disease worsens, severe lower back pain occurs, feeling like a needle prick. Patients may be unable to turn over in bed, and experience leg pain, numbness, and weakness when walking, leading to inconvenient movement. Incorrect sleeping postures can also exacerbate lumbago and leg pain, which is particularly noticeable in the morning. There are many causes of lumbago and leg pain. Various lumbar diseases and surgeries can lead to symptoms of lumbago and leg pain. Additionally, some gynecological diseases, urinary system diseases, and rheumatic immune diseases can also present with lumbago and leg pain.
Knee ligament injury
Knee ligament injury is a type of disease that refers to injuries to the four major ligaments in the knee joint: the medial collateral ligament, lateral collateral ligament, anterior cruciate ligament, and posterior cruciate ligament. These are collectively referred to as knee ligament injuries. Knee ligament injuries are common in sports trauma, mainly presenting as knee pain, swelling, and limited movement. If one or more ligaments are ruptured, knee instability may occur. According to the degree of injury, it can be divided into three grades: Grade I injury (mild injury): A small number of ligament fibers are torn, with local tenderness but no joint instability. Grade II injury (moderate injury): More ligament fibers are torn, accompanied by more severe functional impairment and joint reaction, with mild to moderate joint instability. Grade III injury (severe injury): Complete rupture of the ligament, accompanied by significant joint instability.
