Ganglion cyst
Ganglion cyst
Ganglion cysts are commonly found in the joints and tendons of the hands and feet. They are benign cysts with a high clinical incidence. They typically present as a single large cyst and generally do not pose a serious threat to the patient's health. Ganglion cysts can occur at any age, but 70% of cases occur in young and middle-aged adults between 20 and 40 years old, with a higher prevalence in females. This condition rarely occurs in children under 10 years of age.
