Radial head subluxation
Radial head subluxation
The radius is a long bone located on the thumb side of the forearm, and the radial head is part of the elbow joint. Radial head subluxation occurs when the radial head slips out of the joint through a ligament due to external traction. It is common in young children and infants, and the main symptom is pain when the child moves their arm.
