Early stages of pes valgus may be asymptomatic, but as the condition progresses, symptoms such as pain, swelling, and abnormal gait may appear. Pes valgus in children is common in those with cerebral palsy. In adults, pes valgus can be a continuation of childhood pes valgus or caused by diseases, trauma, etc., and is more common in women.
