Post-term pregnancy

Post-term pregnancy refers to a pregnancy that has reached or exceeded 42 weeks (≥ 294 days) from the first day of the last normal menstrual period without delivery, or a pregnancy that has reached ≥ 40 weeks from the date of conception without delivery. It is primarily characterized by a gestational period of no less than 42 weeks, reduced amniotic fluid, abnormal fundal height and abdominal circumference, and may lead to difficult labor, neonatal diseases, and death.

Postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) is defined as blood loss exceeding 500 mL within 24 hours after vaginal delivery or exceeding 1000 mL after cesarean section. It primarily manifests as vaginal bleeding, which may be accompanied by shock, anemia, or other symptoms caused by excessive blood loss.
