Maxillary sinus cancer
Maxillary sinus cancer
Malignant tumors originating from the maxillary sinus mucosa are called maxillary sinus cancer. (The maxillary sinus is located within the maxilla, is cone-shaped, and is the largest of all paranasal sinuses.) This disease is more common in middle-aged and elderly individuals aged 50-60, with a slightly higher incidence in males than females. Main symptoms include nasal congestion, nosebleeds, tearing, double vision, facial swelling, and toothache.
