Keratitis parenchymatosa
Corneal stromal keratitis, also known as non-ulcerative keratitis, is a non-ulcerative and non-suppurative inflammation of the corneal stroma. Mild cases may be asymptomatic. Severe cases can present with unilateral or bilateral ocular irritation symptoms such as pain, photophobia, and tearing, accompanied by watery discharge and blepharospasm.

Corneal arcus, also known as arcus senilis, is an age-related degenerative and fatty change of the cornea that occurs after the age of 40. It refers to the grayish-white annular opacity formed by the deposition of lipids (cholesterol, cholesterol esters, phospholipids, and triglycerides) in the peripheral cornea. It commonly occurs in older individuals, hence the name arcus senilis. The incidence of arcus senilis gradually increases with age, with nearly 100% of individuals having arcus senilis after the age of 80.

Conjunctival papilloma is an irregular growth formed by the proliferation of epidermal cells and blood vessels of the eyelid, induced by human papillomavirus. It often occurs at the limbus, lacrimal caruncle, and eyelid margin, presenting as a bright red, fleshy mass. According to the location of tumor growth, conjunctival papilloma can be divided into two types: Conjunctival papilloma: It resembles a cauliflower or mulberry, with a soft texture and red color, and rarely undergoes malignant transformation. Limbal papilloma: The tumor is tightly adhered to the underlying cornea and sclera, prone to recurrence after excision, and has a certain tendency for malignant transformation.
