Sick sinus syndrome
Sick sinus syndrome
Sick sinus syndrome, abbreviated as SSS, also known as sinus node dysfunction, is a group of syndromes caused by lesions in the sinus node and its adjacent tissues, leading to impaired sinus node pacing function and/or sinoatrial conduction function, thereby producing various arrhythmias and clinical symptoms. It commonly occurs in people aged 60-70 years and often presents with symptoms such as dizziness, chest pain, and syncope.
