Pleomorphic adenoma
Pleomorphic adenoma is the most common type of salivary gland tumor. It predominantly occurs in the parotid gland and is characterized by a diverse and mixed morphology, containing epithelial, myxoid, and cartilaginous tissues. It is most common in individuals aged 30-50, with a slightly higher incidence in females than males. The primary symptom is the appearance of a relatively firm mass at the affected site.
