The uvea is located between the sclera and the retina of the eyeball, and mainly includes the iris, ciliary body, and choroid. Because it contains pigment and is colored, like a purple grape, it is called the uvea. Uveal tumors refer to tumors that occur in the uvea. They mainly include the following diseases: Benign uveal tumors: iris cysts, choroidal hemangiomas, choroidal osteomas, etc. Malignant uveal tumors: iris melanoma, choroidal melanoma, choroidal metastasis, etc. The main symptoms include blurred vision, decreased vision, and eye pain.
