Tibial nerve injury
The tibial nerve is a major branch of the sciatic nerve and is rarely injured in isolation. However, in cases of supracondylar femoral fractures or knee dislocations, tibial nerve injury may occur, manifesting as weakness or inability to plantarflex the ankle and toes, atrophy of intrinsic foot muscles, toe deformities, and diminished or absent sensation in the sole of the foot.

The acromioclavicular joint is formed by the lateral end of the clavicle and the acromion. It is stabilized by the joint capsule, acromioclavicular ligaments, and coracoclavicular ligaments. Type I: Acromioclavicular joint capsule and ligaments are sprained but not ruptured. Type II: Joint capsule rupture, partial ligament tear, and subluxation of the joint. Type III: Joint capsule rupture, complete ligament tear, and dislocation of the joint.
